Connecting At Games Time
The Connecting at Games Time program lets business visitors quickly identify and connect with their existing, closest, LinkedIn connections who also happen to be in Vancouver for the Games. It's a unique opportunity for existing connections to actually connect.

To qualify for participation in this service:
- you must have an existing LinkedIn account
- you must have attended an event at the BC Showcase
- OR your firm is a member of the 2010 Business Network
- OR your firm is a member of a BC industry association
- you are now at the Games and potentially available to connect with your closest LinkedIn connections
By registering for this service, we will, with your permission, compare your LinkedIn connections with others who register for this service. We will automatically notify you via email of any of your LinkedIn 1st degree connections who also register themselves for such notifications. The email you receive will let you invite them to give you a call for purposes of getting together while you're both at the Games.
Once you register for this service, you will receive an email from LinkedIn asking you to verify your permission for us to compare your existing 1st degree connections with registrations received from business visitors for this service. Once verified, our systems will automatically email you any appropriate notifications, typically around 9am each day. Each emailed notification will include an opportunity for you (or any of your connections) to unsubscribe to this service if it doesn't prove valuable.
